据 Fox News 报导，美国前总统川普 2020 年竞选时的顾问 Jason Miller 指，未来两三个月，川普将以自建社群媒体重返网路。
Jason Miller 表示，川普将在未来两三个月内以自建社群媒体重返网路，应会重新定义社群玩法（completely redefine the game），吸引数以千万计（tens of millions）使用者。
因川普被指在网路煽动民众今年 1 月攻击国会，稍早 Twitter 永久封锁川普帐户，Facebook 也宣布川普 Facebook 及 Instagram 帐号无限期封锁，Facebook 独立监督委员尚未裁决是否让川普重开帐户。川普常批评言论自由遭打击，因此尝试「自立门户」，建立自家社群平台。
